Responsibilities:
- Assist walk-in and phone customers in identifying and sourcing the correct automotive parts and accessories
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale and parts lookup systems
- Maintain and stock shelves to ensure product availability and store organization
- Build strong relationships with DIY customers, professional mechanics, and fleet accounts
- Look up parts using NAPA catalogs, electronic databases, and cross-reference tools
- Handle special orders, returns, and core exchanges efficiently
- Support team members and contribute to achieving store sales goals
Requirements:
- Prior experience in automotive parts sales or a strong knowledge of vehicle parts and systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to use computerized parts lookup and inventory management systems
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a full-time schedule including weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent required
